One of these locations is the beautiful and history-soaked city of Melbourne, Australia. We are lucky that our Brand Director Nayzel lives in Melbourne, meaning he has close relationships with many of the city’s top venues and wedding providers.
We were recently honoured to be a part of Farisha and Suheal’s beautiful Nikkah and massive four-day wedding celebration. We were so blown away by their wedding, that we’ve broken down their celebrations, vendor by vendor.

At Feature, we love filming weddings at locations soaked in history. The right location will create a mood and spark feelings, elevating the shot to the next level…the Feature level!
Labassa is one of Victoria’s finest and most decorative mansions. The mansion’s interiors provide quite the wedding photo backdrop, including heavily embossed and gilded wallpapers, mahogany panelling, a rare trompe l’oeil ceiling, and a magnificent stained-glass window by the grand sweeping staircase. While, externally the mansion features Corinthian columns, arcaded verandas, classical marble decoration and ornamentation.

Farisha and Suheal held their reception at the luxurious Manor on High Events Centre. This elegant venue has a variety of spaces and catering options, alongside lavish outdoor settings, which make it the perfect venue for most wedding celebrations from big to small. They really do have it all on offer and have a strong reputation to match, for delivering exceptional weddings.

Bridal attire, make-up and hair

Farisha was lucky enough to have an amazing team on hand throughout her wedding week, comprising some of Melbourne’s finest make-up and hair stylists.
Responsible for creating the stunning look of the bridesmaids was @glam.by.becks. Becks dedicates her time to creating a make-up look that captures her bride’s unique style. She has years of experience in the make-up industry and prides herself on creating personalised and unforgettable make-up experiences. While Becks looked after the bridesmaids, @shakizee created bride Farisha’s make-up look. Shakizee specialises in South Asian bridal make-up and provides hair services. Her work is absolutely exquisite and she’s left many happy brides in her trail! On hair was @taliajade_hairstyling. Talia has been hairdressing for over a decade and has focused on wedding styling since 2019, lucky brides!
Farisha looked absolutely stunning in her bridal attire, which was from @nitikagujralofficial. Nitika Gujral Official, create timeless, elegant, pieces that mix traditional and contemporary elements.

Hijab, Henna and Saree Stylists

To ensure the bridal party and family’s hijabs, henna and sarees were on point, Farisha had a team of stylists, each responsible for a different area.
Farisha’s Hijab Stylist was @hijabstyling.by.samira. Samira is based in Southeast Melbourne and can ensure your hijab is styled perfectly and sewn into place, to stay intact throughout the ceremony. Styling a hijab can be an expression of faith, personal style, cultural identity and personal beliefs, so it is important to work with a stylist like Samira to bring your vision life, while ensuring you are comfortable and everything stays in place.
The amazing artists who were responsible for henna, consisted of @fathiahraiha and @fadziiesmehndiandbeauty for the bride and bridal party, and @ritesmehindi for the family. Fathia Raihan is an absolute artist, her work is just breathtaking, she is also an art therapy student. So, the passion, emotions and efforts she puts into her craft are second to none. Faadhilah is a private bridal henna artist who also travels internationally with her work. Her henna work is customised, thoughtful and simply put, it’s just stunning. There’s no question why she is requested from afar. While Ritesh who looked after the family’s henna, specialises in small mehendi work, with meticulous care and beautiful results.

To complete the look @seda.silk were Farisha’s saree draping specialist. The company designs ethnic wear, bride’s and bridesmaids’ attire, supplies bridal saree draping and Sri Lankan wedding cakes and bonbonnieres!

Decorators, Florists and Entertainment

Farisha and Suheal chose the amazing @WeddingfactorbyNeha as their wedding stylist company. The Wedding Factor with Neha is a Melbourne based wedding styling company that offers custom wedding decoration services. Founder Neha, has received rave reviews for her attention to detail, creativity and professionalism. Her team specialises in South East Asian wedding events such as Mandaps for Hindu weddings and Nikkah set-ups.
@melbournegarlands provided the flower Garlands and Mala beads. The team at Melbourne Garlands specialise in fresh flower garlands, with locally grown flowers for all occasions.
Farisha and Suheal also worked with Melbourne equipment hire providers @aaura_eventss for their chairs, Tiny Balloons for their plinths and
@TheLuxe for the flooring. Together, the companies went above and beyond to ensure the couple achieved the perfect look they were desiring for their reception.
To top it off and add to the entertainment, our couple hired a photobooth from @oneclickevents . They then got the dance floor absolutely cranking with DJ @enigmaticentertainment.

What’s a wedding celebration without amazing food right!? We are pleased to share Farisha and Suheal got the memo, and even more pleased to share that boy did they deliver!
Responsible for catering was the team @fijicafeandsweets. Fiji Café and Sweets have an amazing menu bustling with traditional curries and sweet treats. The most epic grazing table was provided by @Grazelicious. Fatima from Grazeliciouss specialises in organic and vegan grazing and catering.
While the dessert table was truly where it was at! It included cupcakes by @lasweetbox_, macarons by @petitetreats, desserts by @rimasweetsdelights, wedding cake by @ayeshacakehouse and a Pani Puri Cart by @lalaskitchenbentleigh!
